Join us on Tuesday for a special meeting to celebrate International Women's Day. We'll discuss women's struggles around the world, including the United States, Cuba and Venezuela, and Iraq, Palestine and the Middle East. There will be speakers, a slideshow, discussion, drinks and snacks and more.
* Women's Struggles in the U.S.: Hear about current attacks on women's reproductive rights, along with a discussion of the struggles of immigrant women and women of color. Find out what women are doing to fight back!
* Cuba & Venezuela - Women in Revolution: Revolutionary Cuba and Venezuela are making great social gains. Hear about the role that women play in both countries and the state of women's rights.
* Women Under Occupation: The people of Iraq and Palestine are suffering brutal, colonial occupations of their homelands. Women are often the most affected. Learn what these occupations have done to women's rights and lives. Find out how women are resisting imperialism!
