U.S. Threats Against Iran, Reportback from Cuban 5 Hearing & March 18

Join us on Tuesday night for political analysis, discussion and action. Help build the March 18 anti-war mass march and rally in Los Angeles. At the meeting, we'll talk about the following topics and more. Stick around after the meeting for outreach and postering. Get involved in the independent people's movement!

* What's Behind U.S. Threats Against Iran: Hear a progressive analysis of the history of Iran and why the U.S. is stepping up its threats against Iran while it's bogged down in Iraq. U.S. Hands Off Iran!

* Reportback from Cuban Five Appeals Hearing: Hear from a National Committee to Free the Cuban Five organizer about the recent appeals hearing in the case of the Cuban Five. Find out what it means for the struggle to free the Five.

* Update on March 18 Protest Organizing: The March 18 mass protest is only 3 weeks away. Come to the ANSWER meeting to get involved with the protest.

* Build the March 18 Youth & Student Contingent: All young people and students who want to help form a vibrant and militant youth and student contingent at the March 18 protest should come to this meeting. We'll talk about banners, drums, chants to use and more. Invite your classmates and friends!
