Join us at this week's Party for Socialism and Liberation branch meeting for a Marxist analysis of current political events, discussion and more. We'll talk about the increased U.S. threats against Iran and assess the recent transit workers strike in New York.

* Iran & Syria - The Expanding U.S. War Drive: In recent weeks, the Bush administration has escalated its aggressive campaign against Iran and Syria, even as the U.S. military is bogged down in Iraq. Hear PSL leader Richard Becker talk about why the U.S. government is threatening Iran and what the U.S. imperialist strategy is for the region.

* NYC Transit Workers' Strike: The TWU strike in December boldly defied the anti-union Taylor law and showed the largest demonstration of public sector labor power in New York City in years. Hear an analysis of how the union fared in the battle with the MTA, what it means for the labor movement in general and how the PSL showed solidarity with the workers in this important strike.
