REALITIES OF THE LOOMING PETROLEUM SHORTAGE



Modern societies depend on oil. But the ever increasing demand is now coupled with a decline in supply due to dwindling resources. This disparity between supply and demand is the cause of rising fuel prices and of wars over oil! This forum will address the problem and offer realistic solutions.

Moderator Mimi Kennedy, well-known actress and activist.

Speakers: Jan Lundberg. Renowned oil industry analyst, will speak about the realities of current petroleum resources, and how a dramatic shift in our lifestyle can save us from abrupt loss of energy and the petroleum materials we all depend on.

Paul Koretz, State Assembly Member. Will tell us what role politics can play in this scenario and what we can do to encourage our elected officials take this problem seriously and to do what is necessary to ensure we have the energy we need.

Ed Begley, Jr. Actor, activist and inspirational speaker, will outline how we can change our daily routines to be independent of oil and still enjoy our lives!
