A nice French Canadian flick, with a good even pace and good ol' foreign film qualities, like good acting. It requires reading subtitles, unless you speak a da french. It's got it all, biking, bisexuality (the cute lead), bad ass messengers in tight ripped jean cut offs, evil doer fat slob in car, cranky ol' mentor, more bikes, street riding, road riding (sorry no fixed) and best of all, most of you haven't seen it.
Will Laurie find acceptance with the rowdy bike messenger crowd? Will she find love? Will she and Lorenzo be able to tolerate each other? Will the fat slob in the car kill Laurie? Will she ever ride again? ...And what is the meaning of life? These are some of the poignant issues that are brought up in this dramedy of a quirky bi-gal out on the mean streets of Montreal. A must see for anyone who wants to read subtitles and see partial nudity.
