Yeah, Joe got arrested, all because he was trying to defend our space when we are ready to hold up the SOS banner on a public property. The "leader" goon, who has body tremblor problems, decided to bring two of his pals to disrupt our SOS banner's display. Joe and I warned the "leader" goon and his pals to go back to where other goons at, and the "leader" doesn't want to listen to us. The "leader" pushed Joe and Joe pushed back. I quickly grabbed the "leader" and tell him to go back. He pushed me away. So, Joe, myself, Cat Patrol and other rallier decided to let go and we held up our signs. All of a sudden, the police officer ordered Joe to walk towards him and apparently they were discussing the situation. Joe was pleading his case and asked the officers to order the "leader" goon and his two pals to go back to their own space. Next thing I saw, the officer put handcuffs on Joe's wrists and put him in the back of the police car. Apparently, the "leader" goon pressed charge against Joe, but I have repeatedly told an officer that the "leader" did the pushing too. The officer told me to shut up and don't say anything else. The "leader" was smirking around for awhile while he saw Joe in the police car. Cat Patrol told me that the police will not accept our statements.

I personally don't think today's rally was great. Sure, all of us did a good job preventing the employers picking up the illegals at the day labor site. I am more madder than ever. The officers did absolutely nothing to protect our rights and they allowed young MEChAists to yell and spit at the ralliers, especially at senior citizens and women. I confronted one of the MEChAist after he was yelling and hurling insults very closely to a senior citizen rallier and repeatedly yelled at her like this: "Go Home You Fucking Nazi Scum" and "You are a Fucking Nazi Scum" and many other ugly words. As I confronted him, I told him to start picking on people his size and stay away from senior citizens. I was really going after him, until a young Communist lady (National Guild Lawyers crap) with light green hat threatened me to stay away from the young MEChAist, or otherwise she will get ahold of the police. I told the lady with a light green hat that this young MEChAist has no rights to verbally assaulted a senior citizen. The lady told me, "So what"? I told her repeatedly that this MEChAist has no rights to yelled and hurl insults and she said, yes he does have the rights. So, I rambled on telling her that she better get out of my face. The senior citizen is okay and she didn't let that MEChAist bothered her. Pretty strong rallier there.
