Panel Discussion and Question and Answer Session about sweatshops, corporations, humand rights, and international business. This panel features Professor Paul Adler of the Marshal School of Business and Scott Nova of the Workers' Rights Consortium (WRC).

The featured panelists are Professor Paul Adler of the Marshall School of Business and Mr. Scott Nova of the Workers' Rights Consortium. At Marshall, Dr. Adler holds courses in organizational theory, business management, and corporate ethics. He earned his doctorate in Economics and Management at France's esteemed University of Picardie at Amiens.
Mr. Nova is the Executive Director of the WRC, a non-profit organization comprised of several cities -- including Los Angeles -- and 145 universities, whose mission is verifying the working conditions in factories around the world. Nova is a specialist in international trade, investment, and economics, and is frequently contacted for comment by CNN, NPR, C-SPAN, and Pacifica Radio. He is a contributor to the Journal of Commerce, the Los Angeles Times, the Nation, and many other Publications.
This panel will discuss the particulars of sweatshop labor, and delve into what -- if anything -- can be done to remedy the problem. The discussion will be followed by a question and answer session.
