You may have heard KELLY's moving accounts of her two trips to Iraq where she traveled to promote peace and to advocate on behalf of Iraqi women and children.

Or, you may have heard that the Los Angeles County Women's Commission named KELLY a 2004 Woman of the Year! KELLY serves as the vice-chair of the Santa Monica Commission on the Status of Women.

KELLY started the Women's Health Campaign to hold pharmaceutical corporations accountable for the deadly products they market to women.

Maybe you know about KELLY's long leadership for environmental protection. As executive director of the Coalition for Clean Air and as Lt. Gov. Leo McCarthy's environmental representative, KELLY fought to protect our coast from offshore oil drilling. Recently, KELLY helped NRDC's efforts to phase out dirty diesel school buses.

KELLY is also a proven leader and advocate for consumer rights, healthcare, working families, seniors, civil liberties and education policies. Now she is putting herself on the line and running for State Assembly from the 41st district which includes Santa Monica, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Topanga, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Port Hueneme, and part of Oxnard.

KELLY is endorsed by Martin Sheen, Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante, Jackson Browne and Ed Asner, among other progressive individuals and organizations.
