KELLY Hayes-Raitt is a proven leader and advocate for women's rights, having been named "Woman of the Year" in 2004 by L.A. Co. Commission on the Status of Women, and having traveled to Iraq twice to promote peace.
KELLY currently serves as the co-chair for the Santa Monica Commission on the Status of Women.
KELLY is also an accomplished leader on behalf of consumers, working families, and seniors, and has promoted progressive healthcare and education policies, civil liberties and strong environmental protections for Californians.
KELLY is running for the Assembly to represent the 41st District which includes Tarzana, Encino, Hidden Hills, Santa Monica, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Topanga, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Port Hueneme and part of Oxnard.
KELLY has been endorsed by Jackson Browne, Martin Sheen, Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante, and Ed Asner, as well as other progressive leaders.
