You are invited to a public meeting bringing together: the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela; the new Haitian Revolution opposing the coup and occupation; the movement against racism in Benton Harbor, Michigan; the Women?s Caucus of the People?s Hurricane Relief and Reconstruction Coalition; local campaigns for the rights of prisoners, for the right to welfare and other resources; and opposition to war and occupation. Hear Sharmini Peries, International Relations Advisor to Venezuela President Hugo Chavez; Bolivar Ramilus, Haitian peasant leader & former member of the Haitian Parliament under President Aristide; Rev. Edward Pinkney of the Black Autonomy Network Community Organization in Benton Harbor, Michigan; a New Orleans based representative of the Women?s Caucus of the People?s Hurricane Relief and Reconstruction Coalition; from Los Angeles, a speaker on the growing movement for justice in and against prisons, for welfare, other resources and more.
