Vidiots, one of the last independent video stores, has been called 'the best video store in the country' with over 40,000 indie, foreign, documentary and hard-to-find titles, as well as a gathering place for cinephiles and activists. Vidiots celebrates two decades with 'an environmental variety show' featuring a cast with credits including Highways, Bang, The Groundlings and The New York Fringe Festival. The show will feature comedic monologues, spoken word, music and sketches on the theme of movies and the people who love and rent them. Stay for the big Vidiots anniversary party afterwards, and the chance to congratulate founders Patricia Polinger and Cathy Tauber on 20 years of being a treasured resource to the progressive and film-loving community.
