DESCRIPTION:
LA CAPP is a collaborative effort of residents of communities throughout Los Angeles, who are tired of an unresponsive Planning Department, while watching their neighborhoods deteriorate. Tired of seeing lots that remain vacant for decades littered with trash and covered in weeds. or storefronts that sit abadoned and decaying.

We are also disappointed by the absence or poor quality of development that does occur within inner city communities (ie., strip malls auto part stores and nail shops. While the Westsides communitie suffer from the effects of ovedevlopment, traffic congestion and crowdedness.

Frankly, we've had enough! Like all residents of Los Angeles, we pay taxes to support the operation of the city. Yet we are not getting the services in return. We attribute many of these problems to an unresponsive Plannining Department.

LACAPP is determined to change the way planning is conducted in Los Angeles. We want a Planning Department that will serve as an ally to communities and advocate for good and pro-active planning within the city

We invite anyone who believe we can have a cleaner, safer and better planned city to Join LA CAPP.
