Exhibits, performances, hands-on activities and presentations have been planned for Earth Day 2005. Attendees will enjoy live music performances and green voices on how to make green choices. Presenters and exhibits at the day-long event will cover solar energy, hydrogen energy, a 'Green Technology Forum & Tour,' solar-integrated building design, and sustainable transportation, including electric bicycles powered by solar energy.
To promote public transportation, the event organizers encourage visitors to ride the Gold Line between the Audubon Center at Debs Park (Southwest Museum Station) to Memorial Park in Pasadena (Memorial Park Station), The “Water Water Everywhere” event, hosted in the City of South Pasadena at the Arroyo Park Picnic Area on Stoney Drive is easily accessible from the Gold Line Mission Station.
