The theme for this year is "Literacy is Everybody's Business: Who Will Tell Our Story". The 2005 Literary Award will be presented to the Legendary Mr. Stevie Wonder. Also highlighted are the Children of Legends who write. Malcolm X's daughter, Ilyasah Shabazz, author of "Growing Up X", Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s daughter, Yolanda King, author of "Open My Eyes, Open My Soul: Celebrating Our Common Humanity," and Muhammad Ali's daughter, Maryum "May May" Ali, author of "I Shook Up the World."
