Monday, February 28th - INSTANT-MIX IMPERIAL DEMOCRACY Arundhati Roy, in two remarkable lectures and two lively discussions with Howard Zinn, critiques the “New American Empire” and emphatically challenges Americans to reclaim democracy and resist the U.S. war machine.
Monday, March 7th - GAZA STRIP A stirring documentary which pushes the viewer headlong into the tumult of the Israeli-occupied Gaza, examining the lives and views of ordinary Palestinians, including numerous perspectives from Palestinian children.
Monday, March 14th - CHAVEZ: VENEZUELA AND THE NEW LATIN AMERICA Hugo Chavez, the leader of Venezuela’s Bolivarian Revolution and iconic figure of anti-imperialism, is interviewed by Aleida Guevara—Che’s daughter. Also features interviews with organizers of social change in the barrios of Caracas.
