George Clinton and the New Stars, Burning Star, The Circle, and Icon Underground: @The Henry Fonda Music Box Theater, February 3rd

George Clinton lands the funk ship at the Henry Fonda Theater on February 3rd with a whole new crew of players getting down. Funk inspired local favorites Burning Star, The Circle, and Icon Underground will be opening up with DJ Rafiki of Power 106 spinning two short sets of old school funk. This show is co-sponsored by Relief International and will be accepting donations to raise money for the Tsunami Relief Effort.

· George Clinton and the New Stars: The man that needs no introduction is back with a whole new band of players jamming out new sounds, performing new music and pumping out the old Parliament classics. George steers the mother ship West on February 3rd and this is his only scheduled stop in L.A. this year.
· Burning Star: These gods of the hip hop underground have come up big this year performing recently with Blackalicious, The Black Eyed Peas, and last December here in Los Angeles with Kanye West. Burning Star brings a full instrumental band/hip-hop experience ala The Roots with a West Coast flavor all their own. www.burningstarmusic.com
· The Circle: Hollywood’s Hottest underground band performing a indefinable funk/soul sound with a full band, scratch DJ, and conga drummer lead by the satin voiced Richard Stites. · Icon Underground: A progressive rock electronica band strait out of L.A. featured on DJ Irene’s new album “Rockstar,” with their song “On My Way” now getting spins from underground DJ’s the nation over.
