As of Sept 25th, KIWA announces:
*the National Labor Review Board will be prosecuting Assi for unfair labor practices that occurred in March during the NLRB election &
*the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has ruled after investigating that Assi Market illegal discriminated against Latino workers. Assi could be liable for over .5 million in damages!
Please come to the community meeting at KIWA where this new information will be discussed and future actions planned!

Also, on friday, 9/27 from 4 to 8 pm, CHIRLA and the Korean Resource Center will be joining the workers in protesting outside of Assi Market.
And on sat, 9/28 from 4 to 8 pm, Mindullae and the Food Justice Network will be there in solidarity with the workers.
