reprinted from LiNK (www.linkglobal.org) International Campaign for North Korean Refugees Join 22 NGOs and groups on December 22 as simultaneous protests are held at Chinese missions, consulates and embassies all over the world. LiNK is covering the United States and Canada. Help us urge China to live up to it's humanitarian and legal obligations, and not repatriate those with legitimate asylum or refugee claims- nearly all North Korean refugees, who face physical punishment, torture and sometimes death upon capture and repatriation to North Korea. Show them people all over the world are watching. We are also looking for protesters [ even one or two will make an impact. ] to cover consulates in Canada [ Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary ] and other cities throughout the world. If you can organize one of these cities, please let us know, and we will post your contact.
