Come gather Saturday evening at 7pm for a free film screening of “Surplus: Terrorized into being Consumers”, followed with a presentation by the Green Anarchy Collective of Eugene, Oregon. The presentation will lead into the origins of civilization, patriarchy, and domination, concluding with an interactive discussion on creating healthier ways of connection within ourselves, those we care about, and the rest of life.

Why is the lifestyle of consumerism a source of such rage today? How come the privilege of buying goods does not automatically lead to happiness? Why all this emptiness despite our wealth?
