On Thanksgiving, families get together to (unintentionally?) celebrate one genocide (against Native Americans) by committing another (against

Turkeys). Can we celebrate in good faith and conscience? Come have a cruelty-free meal with a community of resistance to genocide and share your thoughts/feelings.

Thursday, November 25th

Hart Park in Orange (701 South Glassell Street)

12 NOON - 3:30 PM

Bring a Vegan dish (No animal products: No meat, no dairy, no poultry, no honey, etc.) to share. If you can't cook then you can easily pick up some food or fruit juice at some of these local grocery stores (Please read the ingredient list carefully):

Trader Joe's

Please bring your own plates and utensils which will save needless plastic waste. Feel free to bring along literature to share related to various forms of activism (from other conscious groups/individuals trying to make the world a better place).

You do not have to RSVP.

Just show up with or without other vegetarian/non-vegetarian friends/acquaintances/family & children.

22 EAST toward ORANGE

Take the GRAND AVE exit toward GLASSELL ST.

Turn LEFT onto N GRAND AVE.

N GRAND AVE becomes S GLASSELL ST.

22 WEST toward LONG BEACH

Take the GLASSELL ST exit toward GRAND AVE

Turn RIGHT onto S GLASSELL ST.
