Dangerous Words Dramatic Reading September 30th, 6:00pm to 9:00pm
In observation of Banned Books Week, The Erotic Museum presents an evening of dramatic readings from some of the worlds literary masterpieces once banned in America for their sexual content. Local actors and actresses perform controversial passages from Aldous Huxley, Arthur Miller, Judy Blume, James Joyce, Voltaire, and others. Also featured is a reading from the expository work by Arthur Millers civil rights lawyer which serves as a dissertation on the power of sex in literature and the importance of asserting our freedom of expression as an extension of sexual freedom. .95 general admission includes complementary wine, cheese, and access to museum exhibitions.
