Supercade Music Fest announces its inaugural show, with an amazing one-day festival, combining live music and video games. On Saturday, October 2, 2004, Supercade will take place in San Bernardino, California, at the NOS Events Center, Orange Pavilion – located in Southern California’s booming Inland Empire, just east of Los Angeles and not far from nearby Riverside and Orange Counties. Supercade Music Fest will feature more than 150 arcade games, from the classics to the latest arcade hits, spread throughout the arena – set up to be played for free – while some of today's hottest, cutting-edge bands perform live throughout the entire day. An estimated 5,000 video game and music aficionados are expected to attend at the super-low ticket price of only .
Performing live on stage continuously throughout the day, Supercade's amazing music lineup includes: Strung Out, Rufio, the Aquabats, Death By Stereo, theStart, A Static Lullaby, Throw Rag, Ten Foot Pole, Narcoleptic Youth, the God Awfuls, Guff, and more.
Gamers will feel like they have died and gone to heaven. Arcade games to be set for unlimited free play include Dance Dance Revolution, Ms. Pac Man, Galaga, Rave Racer, Mortal Kombat I & II, Street Fighter, Virtual Boxing, Wave Runner, Lethal Enforcer, Prop Cycle, Golden Tee Golf, Blitz, NBA Jam, Wayne Gretzky Hockey, and over 100 more. Prizes will be presented for the highest score on select featured games!
Along with free video games and non-stop music, some of today's top companies will be present to provide a sneak peek at their newest games and products. In addition, the Inland Empire’s Alternative Rock Station, X103.9 (KCXX), is the official presenting radio station of the Supercade Music Fest and will be providing free prize and ticket giveaways over the weeks leading up to the event.
Doors open at 11:00 a.m. for this all-day event. Tickets are on sale now for ONLY at all Ticketmaster outlets, or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
