On Saturday, August 28, 2004, at 10:00 A.M., the West Bluffs Conservancy will
screen the acclaimed ?Winged Migration? on the big screen of the Santa Monica
Laemmle. It?s about the amazing odyssey of traveling birds. Join the birds in flight
and soar over jungles and snow-capped mountains. The stars are the birds whose
personality and beauty are faithfully recorded by ingenious technology (gliders, remote
control models, etc.).
This is a don?t miss event. This fun-raiser will features live music by eco-musician
Jon Sherman and fabulous prizes!! (5-class yoga pass; restaurant certificates;
color tv; lady?s watch; etc.)
The event is part of the Conservancy?s on-going efforts to preserve the last
undeveloped bluff top of the Westchester Bluffs.
