FMC112 - DIRECTING - Advanced Performance: Good communication between actor and director can mean the difference between a great film and a missed opportunity. A crucial yet often overlooked element of film production is effective interaction with actors and understanding the requirements of performance.
WHAT IT IS: A one-day intensive course on completely understanding the actors world from script breakdown to performance. The goal is to explore the process and your creative abilities to direct a convincing performance incorporating imaginative use of the camera. This class will challenge your abilities to motivate and inspire your actors. This course is designed as a companion to the Director's Crash Course, held the preceding day.
