As part of the ongoing exhibit: "Mark Vallen: More than a Witness", the artist will appear at the A Shenere Velt Gallery on Friday Aug. 6th. 8 pm (Hiroshima Day), to present a free slide show and lecture on the subject of art in times of war and censorship. Come early and view Vallen's paintings and drawings. This must see exhibition opened on July 12th and runs until the end of August. "LA.com" in its review stated: "LA artist Mark Vallen establishes himself as one of the most profound political artists of our time."
