When: Sep. 12th. 2004 Where: El Monte, California Pagan Pride Day ~ Awaken The Spirit Within ~ Event Details: Pagan Pride Day 2004 will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2004 at the Meadows in Whittier Narrows Park, El Monte, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
People of all ages and spiritual backgrounds are welcome for a day of spiritual awareness and education. The event will include information booths, vendors, entertainers, rituals, and other activities celebrating the Autumn Equinox, a time of thanksgiving in many Pagan traditions.
An item of clothing or non-perishable food will be accepted as admission and donated to local charities. Donations will be given to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
Pagan Pride events provide an opportunity for the Pagan community to gather, and for the public to experience our religion and culture. . Pagan Pride Los Angeles will feature many Pagan authors, musicians, workshops, vendors & a Handfasting.
The International Pagan Pride Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of prejudice and religious discrimination through education, activism, charity, and community. Annual Pagan Pride celebrations are held during the month of September.
