100 Artists See Satan is a survey of contemporary artists and their interpretation and representation of the supreme demon. The exhibition was organized in response to another exhibition, 100 Artists See God, organized by artists/curators John Baldessari and Meg Cranston for Independent Curators Inc. New York. During roughly the same period that 100 Artists See Satan is showing at the Cal State Fullerton Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, 100 Artists See God will be on view at the Laguna Art Museum in Laguna Beach.
CSUF Grand Central Art Center is pleased to introduce 100 Artists See Satan, showing July 3, 2004 through September 19, 2004 with a celebratory opening reception on Saturday, July 3 from 11am-10pm featuring live music from more than 10 indie rock bands from 12-10pm.
The bands include: Dios, The Sultans, Go Go Airheart, The Skulls, Harbortown Saints, The Geisha Girls, The Starvations, Operator, Satisfaction, The Distraction, Alleged Gunmen and more.
