The Fellowship of Reconciliation, the oldest and largest interfaith peace organization in the United States, is commemorating its 90th Anniversary at its National Conference, "Organizing the Real Superpower: People of the World Choose Peace," from Thursday, August 5 to Monday, August 9.
Featured Speakers include: Three-time Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, Kathy Kelly; Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly gay bishop ordained in the Episcopal Church; the parents of Rachel Corrie (the first U.S. peace activist killed in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; Rabbi Leonard Beerman, founding Rabbi of Leo Baeck Temple; Mike Farrell, president of Death Penalty Focus and co-chair of Human Rights Watch in California; Reverend James Lawson, former close associate to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and more.
