The Unitarian Church of Orange County, one the few institutions behind the "Orange Curtain" that courageously stands up for peace, social justice, and liberal thinking, is holding a huge book sale on Saturday, July 10, 2004 as a fundraiser to help pay the bills. On that day, the Unitarian Church will open its doors to the general public and offer several thousand quality used books for sale at below market value! Most books will be priced between 25 cents and 5 dollars. Topics include: History, Biography, Philosophy, Cookbooks, Mathematics, Skepticism, Mystery, Trivia, Horror, Nature, Classical Literature, Romance, Sociology, Drama, Art, Humor, Travel, Self Help, Health, Reference, Poetry, and more! Many books are in good condition and organized by category. All of them were donated to the Unitarian Church by generous members and friends. Plenty of good bargains are to be found! So arrive early! Don't you dare miss it! And while you are in town, the Anaheim Public Library, located less than a block away from the Unitarian Church, will be having their book sale at an earlier time! Check it out! See their WWW site for details: http://www.anaheim.net/comm_svc/apl/ Save the date! Put it on your calendar! Make July 10th a day to visit Anaheim to buy good quality used books for friends and family! All proceeds from the Unitarian Church book sale will go directly to the Unitarian Church!
