Fight the spread all forms of sexual violence and abuse!!!
UCLA Clothesline Project invites people to the following two events:
1. UCLA Clothesline Project Display Tues May 11 thru Thurs May 13 Schoenberg Plaza 8:30am-4:30pm every day *** T-shirts made by survivors of sexual violence are displayed to serve as a visual representation of the prevalence and impact of sexual violence in our society. Each color signifies a different form of sexual violence, such as rape, incest, LGBT hate crimes, partner abuse, and many others.
2. Tack Back the Night Rally, Candle Light Vigil, and March Thurs, May 13 DeNeve Plaza 6:00pm - 10:00pm *** Take Back the Night includes a march into the streets of Westwood during the evening, to reclaim the streets and protest against all forms of sexual violence. The speak-out provides a space for survivors to tell their stories in a safe, non-judgmental, but visible space. Speakers, spoken word artists, and musical guests will also perform.
Break the silence! Speak out against sexual violence!
