Thursday, April 29th – Thursday, May 6th – VC FILMFEST 2004 The 20th Anniversary Edition of the Southland’s largest and most comprehensive celebration of Asian and Pacific diasporic cinema is set for the Directors Guild of America, Arclight Hollywood, David Henry Hwang Theatre, and Aratani/Japan America Theatre. VC FILMFEST will feature over 100 films and videos by and about Asian American and Asian international communities, heritage and issues, and will additionally include an exciting slate of panels, seminars, and special events. 'Ohana House, the API LGBTIQ community center, is a program of Asian Pacific Islanders for Human Rights (APIHR). APIHR works to support the Pan Asian and Pacific Islander, including multiracial, transnationally and transracially adopted, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and questioning communities through public education, outreach, support services, leadership development, and advocacy in order to transform and improve the cultural and social conditions of our communities.
