DESCRIPTION:

This is a call for local NOT IN OUR NAME (NION) L.A. activists and all interested parties and organizations to participate in an upcoming action THIS Friday April 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 on the Sunset Blvd Overpass to the Hollywood Fwy in Hollywood.
We are asking activists to come with large, visible, legible, hand-held anti-war banners and posters. NO BANNERS CAN BE HUNG FROM THE OVERPASS!!! We want to increase the visibility of the anti-occupationists and our message of ending the occuaption NOW! NION is hopeful that the Freeways for Peace concept will catch on so that we can have massive co-ordinated national actions in the very near future. This can and will be guerilla advertising/activist work at its best! Bring cameras and noise makers.
