DESCRIPTION:

the telepoetics arts and technology roundtable started in january and
continues as a public event, the second friday of every month. this
is a groove for closers of the digital and cultural divides and for
wannabes. january we talked about moveon.org's house party
distribution of "the whole truth about the iraq war"; open source and
copyleft; driving kids home from computer labs if they have to walk
through hoods. the roundtable is an informal knowledge sharing
session.
friday's guest presenters: charlotte ferrell will talk about the
upcoming los angeles cin(E)-poetry festival and creating digital
poems. wilma parks will talk about creating and marketing poems as
"profiles." kennon b. raines will talk about burning poems to CD.
