?Ohana Xposed: A Night of Spoken Word and Music on the Intersections of Race, Gender, and Sexuality
Dark lighting, cool music, and rare, hard-to-find performances. What more could you ask for on a Saturday night? We, at Asian Pacific Islanders for Human Rights, are hosting ?Ohana Xposed at FUSION: The Los Angeles LGBT People of Color Film Festival. We will have five to six set performances by experienced poets and musicians. After that, all queer youth of color are welcome to perform anything they wish. No boundaries, no restrictions, no judges. It is a night to take the possibilities of freedom of expression to its max. ?Ohana Xposed is being held in the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center courtyard in Downtown Los Angeles after the Young Blood program of FUSION. We will have drinks and snacks. And guess what? It?s all FREE! Don?t miss this awesome opportunity to enjoy a free show. And for all you hidden performance artists, now is the chance to tell other people your story, your way of letting off steam.
