Brooklyn Walker is Instructor of Political Science at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. She holds a BA from Kansas State University (2005), MA from the University of Michigan (2009), and PhD from the University of Kansas (2022), all in Political Science. A native Kansan practically raised at the church, Brooklyn has always been intrigued by the ability of religious identities to draw exclusive social boundaries, with subsequent implications for political beliefs. She has continued to explore the intersections of Christian nationalism and religious and racial group identities, and her work has been widely published.
Abigail Vegter is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO. She has an active research agenda focusing on religion and politics, gun politics, public opinion, political behavior, and policy attitudes in the United States. She has published broadly on both religion and politics and gun politics in a variety of academic journals and books. The diversity in her work exemplifies her commitment to approaching diverse political and societal problems with a variety of methodological and disciplinary tools.
