Topanga Library 122 N Topanga Canyon Blvd, Topanga, California 90290
For April, the Topanga Peace Alliance will present a special program honoring the March for our Lives movement to stop gun violence. We will be featuring films including "Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and the NRA" and speakers presenting actions we can take to stop needless gun deaths.
"Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and The NRA" tells the stories of how guns, and the billions made off of them, affect the lives of everyday Americans. The film exposes how the powerful gun companies and the NRA are resisting responsible legislation for the sake of profit - and thereby putting people in danger.
Come join us April 6th and learn what we can do to put an end to this profit-driven crisis.
After the film with will have a discussion led by activists from groups dedicated to stopping gun violence.
Before the film, we will have announcements regarding upcoming events and actions for peace and social justice.
