We urge everyone to be present at Amers hearing on November 6. The loud and constant opposition expressed by his supporters continues to be his strongest protection against governmental abuses of power--abuses which are becoming more and more severe.
Supporters from other parts of the US are asked to picket the closest Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement office on November 6. International supporters are asked to do the same at the nearest US embassy. Our thanks to the hundreds of supporters of both Palestinian rights and immigrant rights who have responded to earlier calls for solidarity. With your help, the authorities will not be able to continue this outrageous attempt at silencing free speech.
