Roundtable conversations,Thursdays, November 6, 13, 20 and December 4, for people who think it is time to dump the rotten system we live under and replace it with something better. Discuss the radical ideas that can help achieve this. Basis of the discussion will be two recently published pamphlets, Leon Trotsky: His life and ideas, authored by Helen Gilbert, and Socialism for Skeptics, written by Clara Fraser. Trotsky, a leader of the Russian Revolution and Fraser, theoretician of the interconnections of socialism and feminism, wrote prolifically on how the Russian Revolution was made and why a society based on human needs rather than on profit is possible. Everyone is welcome. Registration fee is @2 per session and snacks served for a donation.
