March from Wilshire/Western to Olympic/Normandie (1.1 miles) to welcome the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics and support efforts toward Peace and Reunification in Korea.
From Pyeongchang Olympics to Peace Olympics!
We Korean Americans wish the Pyeongchang Olympics will become a stepping stone for reconciliation and unity, peace and reunification for South and North Korea!

ACCESS: Wilshire/Western Station is public space with an elevator leading from the underground subway and ramps at the crosswalks. It is a relatively busy intersection by foot traffic and vehicles.

PREP: We have many signs prepared, so it is okay to come empty-handed, but please feel free to bring your own: Especially anti-War, pro-Peace, pro-Reunification imagery
SAFETY: **TENTATIVE** Our safety team will be wearing bright vests. Please let them handle any possible conflict. We anticipate right-wing Korean counter-protesters who may shout distracting things in Korean or play loud music, please do not engage.
LEGAL OBSERVER: **TENTATIVE** We have designated 2 people for interactions with police or security, etc. If any trouble arises, please let our Legal Observers know.
MEDIA: **TENTATIVE** We have Korean- and English-language point people to respond to media and other recording, but we welcome you to give your own thoughts. If you are approached by media and are uncomfortable speaking, please re-direct to our designated Media liaisons.
