Bayside, the critically acclaimed Newport Beach restaurant, is celebrating its 18-year anniversary by rolling out a special 3-course birthday dinner that comes with a gift -- a bounce back card that may be redeemed anytime in January 2018. Executive Chef Paul Gstrein says that the prix fixe dinner starts with a choice of lobster salad or tuna tartar, either Chilean sea bass or filet mignon as the entrée and birthday cake for dessert.
“We are so grateful to both locals and visitors to the area who have remained loyal to us for so many years,” said owner Marc Ghoukassian. “Paul has crafted a menu that appeals to nearly everyone and the bounce back card is just our way of saying ‘thanks.’”
Bayside is a contemporary dining establishment with an extensive menu emphasizing fresh seafood. Overlooking the tranquil waters of Newport Harbor, the 246-seat restaurant features a muted color scheme, fabric covered booths, and other seating, favorable lighting, state-of-the-art acoustics and a generous use of Macassar ebony, a rare wood from Indonesia. The interior lends the ideal backdrop to Bayside\'s ever-evolving fine art exhibition. The wrap-around patio comes with built-in heaters and sun drapes and its large windows offer breathtaking views of the harbor.
