Welcome progressives, revolutionaries, and allies of the Green movement! Please join the Green Party Orange County for this amazing opportunity to hear from two Revolutionary Green Party leaders, David Cobb and Meleiza Figueroa, on their nation-wide tour for their Movement Schools for Revolutionaries! Suggested Donation at-the-door: ; no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Speakers are Meleiza Figueroa (Movement School Co-Facilitator): Meleiza Figueroa is a PhD Candidate in Geography at UC Berkeley, Press Director for the Stein/Baraka 2016 Presidential campaign, and Executive Producer of the Green News Network. Her experience in progressive media includes over a decade as a staff producer for the Pacifica Radio Network, and lead researcher for the 2005 documentary "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price." David Cobb (Movement School Co-Facilitator): David Cobb was the Green Party Presidential Candidate in 2004 and Campaign manager for the Stein/Baraka 2016 Presidential Campaign. The Movement School for Revolutionaries is a day-long, custom-designed workshop for revolutionaries in radical & progressive movements who recognize the imperative to restructure society to meet human needs and address the dire social, economic, and ecological challenges facing our world, as well as the need to take & exercise political power in order to achieve those ends.
