Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church in Montrose will host a screening of the documentary "Disturbing the Peace" in Fellowship Hall on Friday evening, September 8.

We had a good group that enjoyed ?The Great Dictator? earlier this month. The depth of insight into darkness beneath the humor truly shows Chaplin?s genius.
Our next film will be a documentary about a more contemporary topic. ?Disturbing the Peace? It presents hope and possibilities for solutions to and age old conflict, that many see as inevitable, between Israel and Palestine.
Please Gather to watch this film with us, in the hope that we may be Inspired to Act to build peace locally and globally. It sounds like a tall order. There?s a better chance of having that happen if we meet and work together.
The doors at Crescenta Valley UMC, 2700 Montrose Avenue, will open at 7. Film at 7:30. See you then.
