Organized by: Korean American and U.S.-based Peace Activist Organizations and Individuals urging for Peace in Korea

President Trump?s threat "fire and fury" against North Korea on August 8th is exacerbating the already hostile situation, putting not only people in the Korean peninsula but everyone around the world into grave danger. We are seriously concerned with the current situation because the war in the Korean peninsula can be readily expanded to the World War III. It's time for Koreans and Americans to unite in a people's movement for peace and keep us all safe.

Our demands:

1) Stop reckless brinkmanship; Start direct talk with North Korea

2) Halt the dangerous US-ROK war games, the reason why North Korea is pursuing nuclear weapons.

3) Start peace process for a peace treaty to formally end the Korean War.

US imperialism is threatening to invade the sovereign Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Donald Trump, in a statement to the press on Friday August 11th threatened a military invasion standing next to Rex Tillerson, the former executive of ExxonMobil and current Secretary of State.

Venezuela is an example of hope for workers, who have reclaimed their natural resources (they possess one of the world's largest oil reserves) and have invested in housing, education, healthcare and has built a government of workers in power.

Breaking from the free-slave trade agreements, Venezuela along with 10 other countries from Nuestra Am?rica have created a Socialist alternative to the neo-liberal capitalist system and this is the reason the US capitalist state wants to destroy Venezuela. The US intention is to forcefully submit Venezuela into economic servitude, and loot Venezuela like they're doing with Mexico.

As Raza and all freedom loving people, we must stand with our brothers and sisters in Venezuela to struggle against US imperialism and its ability to invade other people's and nations.

Join us to stand with the people of Venezuela and demand HANDS OFF VENEZUELA!!
