Ed Act Now is a group of educators and media professionals in Los Angeles focusing on resisting the Trump administration and promoting Progressive Education policy, through political action and targeted media.

WHAT ARE WE DOING? We are meeting to discuss our priorities and action items for the summer.

WHY ARE WE PERSONALLY DOING THIS? We are doing this because we care about education, advancing progressive goals, resisting the Trump Administration, and a firm belief that if we lose on education, we lose EVERYTHING.

WHY NOW? After a successful run promoting progressive education candidates, drafting national action items to protect children from ICE, and production of an animated spot on vouchers with multiple partners, we need to reflect and reassess where we should put our efforts going forward.

HOW IS THIS EFFECTIVE SHORT AND LONG TERM? This allows us to focus our efforts in the short term, while also seeing who can contribute to long term resources, such as website and strategy/legislative development.

Also, for any PARENTS, if there is enough demand, we will have a babysitter at the meeting who can look after children. Please DM me if you?ll need a babysitter.
