Join Food & Water Watch for an evening of art and activism
Thursday, May 11 at 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM PDT
Hammer Museum 10899 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90024
"Art-ivists" all over the country are using creative expression as a way to engage people in social justice work. Andrea Bowers' current exhibit at the Hammer Museum features a powerful, giant mural that depicts the relationship between corporate banks and the Dakota Access Pipeline, which she worked with Food and Water Watch staff, Lily Boyce and Hugh MacMillan, to create.
Join us to see how creativity can be used as an inspirational tool for social change!
Bowers will lead a private tour of the exhibit exclusively for Food & Water Watch supporters like you who have supported our work to fight pipelines like DAPL, stand up to Big Oil and Gas, and ensure everyone has access to safe and sustainable food and water.
SIGN UP TODAY to let us know you can join us, click on the ticket URL to save your place. Space is limited.
We hope to see you there!
