March for Rent Control in East L.A.

Roberto Perez, Carolina Rodriguez and family beat back a 63% rent increase twice in court. Now, they're leading a march to the office of County Supervisor Hilda Solis to demand rent control in unincorporated East LA. No family should have to fight a rent increase like the one Roberto and Carolina are battling in City Terrace.
The march will start at 12:30pm at Olvera Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles and end at 500 W. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, where families battling rent increases in unincorporated parts of Los Angeles County will stand up, and be forgotten no longer.
