Shana Alex Charles, PhD, MPP, is an Associate Professor in Department of Health Sciences at California State University, Fullerton. Prior to her present position, she was the director of the Heath Insurance Studies Program at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.
Peter Mendel, PhD, is a Senior Sociologist at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California and member of our temple. His research focuses on organizational change and improvement in health care, and how our health systems can provide better outcomes and value to patients, families and communities.
