Can the Constitution Save Our Voting Rights?
Dear Friend,
You're invited to a special event, My Daily Constitution, at Occidental College this Thursday, April 20, where I will be a guest panelist.
The topic is "Can the Constitution Save Our Voting Rights?" and appearing alongside me will be Andrew Gumbel, journalist for the Guardian newspaper and author of Down for the Count - Dirty Elections and the Rotten History of Democracy in America .
My Daily Constitution - organized by local artist, Linda Pollack - is a series of conversations that encourages the public to read our nation's founding document and discuss constitutional issues of concern to Americans. By attending the free event, you'll receive a copy of the Constitution.
The event will take place in a classroom environment, where attendees will be able to engage the topic in an informal setting.
When: Thursday, April 20, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Where: Occidental College, Johnson Hall, 1600 Campus Rd., Los Angeles CA 90041
