Los Angeles! Join together to hold the Trump Administration accountable for its unprecedented assault on the free press.

Trump's cheering squadron of professional propagandists at Breitbart have kept their location secret -- until now: 11999 San Vicente. Demand transparency, protest propaganda!

This protest is to make our voices heard, not to silence Breitbart’s. We believe in free speech, free press, and nonviolence, even when we disagree. We are inclusive: all genders, races, ethnicities, religions, and political persuasions are welcome.

Please share widely! Even if you're not in California, join the event and show your support!

WHY DO WE PROTEST?

- The President wrote that the New York Times and mainstream media are "the enemy of the American People."

-- The Administration just banned the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, CNN, Politico, and Buzzfeed from the White House briefing (while including Breitbart).

-- As Senator John McCain put it, the White House's "growing inability, and even unwillingness, to separate truth from lies" is the first step towards creating a propaganda state.

WHY BREITBART?

-- Steve Bannon, Chief Strategist to the President and member of the National Security Council, is the the ex-CEO of Breitbart (and never officially resigned). Both Bannon and Kellyanne Conway were brought to the Trump campaign by the Mercer family, owners of Breitbart.

-- Bannon labeled Breitbart "the platform for the alt-right.” He also told the New York Times to “shut up.” Breitbart doxes private individuals and courts hate speech from its commenters.

-- Breitbart just applied to be one of the few permanent media outlets with a Congressional press pass, yet won't divulge its ownership structure or location (we did it for them). Anonymity breeds a lack of accountability.

So rise up, Los Angeles! Say no to state-sponsored propaganda. March for a free and independent press, for accountability and for dialogue. Do not let Bannon and Breitbart steal the mantle of patriotism and free speech. Let’s join together to let them know: we will not “shut up.” The people and the free press will NOT BE SILENCED.
