DESCRIPTION:
|
\"Redacted\" is an incredibly powerful film by Brian dePalma, based on the true story of a 14-year old Iraqi girl who was raped and murdered by U.S. soldiers. A criminal war and the question of complicity are starkly posed.
Don\'t miss this final screening at Laemmle Sunset 5. Special discounted $6 tickets available when you mention "World Can't Wait" at the box office.
Join us on Thursday, Nov. 29th at 9:50 p.m. Yeah, it\'s late, but it\'s leaving the theater after only two weeks!
RSVP to worldcantwait_la@yahoo.com or 323-462-4771.
\"An amazingly vigorous work and dePalma\'s strongest cinematic statement since \'Casualties of War\'.\" - Richard Corliss, Time Magazine
\"I think it\'s safe to suggest no other war could have produced a movie like this.\" - Rick Groen, Globe & Mail
\"You pull that movie (Redacted) or I\'m going to be your worst nightmare.\" - Bill O\'Reilly.
See this movie and you will understand exactly why it has been attacked by O\'Reilly. Don\'t let the boycott succeed.
